Artist Statement
Does anyone have the sheet of paper with the rough draft of our artist statement? It was on the black desk when 3 of us left for Home Depot.
I'll try to paraphrase it:
This structure is the common ground on which twelve projects for positive social change come together in a showing of unity. The purpose of these projects is to use the power that we possess as a group and as individuals to create a better world. The quote formed by grouping the twelve books is by Martin Luther King.

I really like it! Crisp and to-the-point. I think its very well written.
My only comment would be to remove "a showing of", and just say "... come together in unity".
But its nice as it is also.

Cool, maybe we can lay the statement out and print it with the guide. Then not attach it until Brody gives approval at the beginning of class.
